DALLAS dudes and dudettes! You KNOW - it’ s not EVERY day we get to see powerful impactful comedy that comes from the heart, and to be frank - downright HILARIOUS taking over the Majestic Theatre for a night at the beginning of our Spring season - so you already KNOW we had to start March off right for y’all. And lucky for us? One of the biggest voices in comedy right now - the one and only Zarna Garg - is pulling up to the Majestic on Sunday the 1st as part of her 2026 Million Dollar Excuses Tour. She’s been hitting everywhere from Grand Rapids to New York’s Beacon Theatre to Charlotte, Fort Lauderdale, Seattle, Minneapolis, and even Niagara Falls — so the fact that she’s touching down right here in Dallas for just me and you. 

So — some of you might be asking: who exactly IS Zarna Garg anyway?! Well buckle up, because her story is the kind that deserves a standing ovation before the mic even turns on. Born and raised in Mumbai, Zarna’s life completely changed for her at just 14 when she lost her mother and refused the arranged-marriage path that was already being set for her. She chose herself - leaving home and immigrating to the U.S., earning a finance degree AND a law degree (can we say girl boss?!), becoming a lawyer, and then spending 16 years as a full-time mom raising her three kids. And THEN, after being able to just chill and live comfortably - PLOT TWIST - she said forget that at age 44. Walked into a basement open mic in New York, killed the scene, and completely rewrote her life. Within months she was performing at Caroline’s Comedy Club, writing award-winning scripts, and quickly becoming one of the most unique voices in American comedy - all at the age of 44, all because she WANTED to. 

And since then?! She’s been unstoppable. Her screenplay Rearranged won the Austin Film Festival’s Top Comedy Feature Award. She won Lyft Comic’s comedy competition right after that. Snagged the Ladies of Laughter Newcomer Award. Variety named her one of their “10 Comics to Watch.” Her Prime Video special One in a Billion blew up. Her Hulu special Practical People Win followed. Her memoir This American Woman became a whole New York Times bestseller. And now, she’s on this monster tour proving exactly why she’s in her bag right now.
