And that’s why we’re SO excited to welcome George Lopez to the stage for what might just be the funniest night Dallas has seen in a looooong time y’all. The Mexican-American comedy king George Lopez is pulling up Friday, February 13th, ready to shake the walls of the Majestic with that razor-sharp, too-real, “did-he-really-just-say-that?!” storytelling we all grew up quoting. And as part of his nationwide run through 2025 and 2026, Dallas gets one of the early, prime dates — no openers listed, no filler, just George at full power. Other stops on his trek include classics like the Palace Theatre in Connecticut, The Astro in Nebraska, City Winery NYC, Hard Rock venues across the states, and theatres from California to the Midwest… but nothing hits quite like a Texas crowd ready to laugh their hearts out.

George Lopez is debatably one of the funniest comedians alive — but absolutely the most influential Latino comedian of our generation. Born and raised in Los Angeles and raised by his grandparents, George didn’t have the smoothest start, but he turned every hardship into material that now fills entire theatres. He started stand-up in his 30s, grinding in small clubs until Sandra Bullock herself approached him about creating a sitcom centered around Mexican-American life — something TV desperately needed at the time. Two years later, The George Lopez Show hit ABC, where he starred, wrote, and produced for six legendary seasons. After that? Reno 911!, his late-night talk show Lopez Tonight, guest-judging on America’s Got Talent, multiple HBO specials, a Netflix hour, his hit NBC series Lopez vs Lopez, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
