Well - they call us Majestic Theatre for a reason: we’re where the magic happens at! Located right in the heart of Dallas, we can’t wait to get in our spaceship to the stars with you when Moonchild comes BACK to Texas for a night that’s gonna be filled with soulful grooves, vocals that hit all of us one by one, and a step into their world on the dark side of the moon. The trio — known for their blend of R&B, jazz, and neo-soul — will be hitting the stage here at Majestic on Sunday March 8th as part of their worldwide WAVES Tour, bringing the next era of their sound straight to the stage as they show the world their newest project. The tour is gonna be hitting over 25 cities across North America and Europe, including stops in Los Angeles, New York City, Toronto, Paris, Amsterdam, and London, and of course - right here in Dallas to get down, dirty, and duh - jazzy.

Formed in 2012 by Amber Navran, Max Bryk, and Andris Mattson, Moonchild met while studying jazz at USC in L.A. - and they found chemistry almost instantaneously. Their debut album, Be Free, immediately caught eyes from all the modern icons - Jill Scott, Stevie Wonder, and Robert Glasper to name a few. With Stevie Wonder then inviting them to open for him - and the rest was history from there. Since then, they’ve released five studio albums — Voyager, Please Rewind, Little Ghost, Starfruit, and The List — each expanding their sound and cementing their place as one of the most innovative and respected acts in the modern soul scene. Their arrangements, complex use of instruments, and ethereal sounds have taken them to the top of the new age jazz charts - racking up millions of streams across the internet, and collaborations with artists like Rapsody, Tank and the Bangas, Lalah Hathaway, and Alex Isley. And now with the WAVES Tour, Moonchild is showing us their next saga of sound - one that builds on their intimacy and groove that we’ve come to love, while diving deeper into transformation, connection, and creative rebirth. And at the show? Of course they’ll play old favorites like The List and Cure - alongside brand new tracks from their newest project. So basically - it’s a must see.
