What to expect from an event at Majestic Theatre

The Majestic Theatre Dallas is a uniquely beautiful architectural mix thanks to its history, but it also provides an exceptional (and comfortable) viewing experience for the modern theatergoer. The decor dates from the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. As a result, you would struggle to find a grander theater.

On entering the building’s lobby, you will walk on luxurious black and white marble flooring and then up the staircases. The marble continues right through to the theater seating areas.

Baroque in design, the main auditorium dates to the 1920s and features the iconic red curtains that all theater lovers recognize. You could spend hours examining the intricate gold detailing around the theater. The two balconies and sparkling crystal chandeliers, brass mirrors, ferns, and a marble fountain were added in the 1940s.

The Majestic Theatre is a popular venue for a wide range of performing arts shows in Dallas including theater, concerts, and comedy shows, plus Broadway productions. The theater hosts several different events every month, so there is always something new to enjoy.
