Idina Menzel is coming fresh off a completed run of her new musical production, “Redwood”, and is hitting the road with her latest tour, fondly named after a number from her stage debut, "Rent", for which she received a Tony Award nomination as Best Featured Actress in a Musical.
It was, however, her critically acclaimed role as Elphaba in Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman’s “Wicked” that shot Idina Menzel to fame, landing her a Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical and earning her a devoted global fan base. She also took on multiple roles in film and television, such as "Glee" and "Enchanted", and most noteworthy, voiced the character Elsa in the highly successful "Frozen" films. It became the highest-grossing animated film, with the song "Let It Go" peaking on the Billboard Hot 100 and making Idina Menzel the first Tony Award-winning actress to earn a top-10 position on the charts, winning two Teen Choice Awards, a Billboard Music Award as well as an Academy Award.
