And now, nearly six decades later, Bill Payne and his henchmen have announced that they are hanging up their instruments for good - and whether you are a longtime fan or a total newbie, this is your last chance to catch them live, doing what they do best - so don't let it slip through your fingers!

Keyboard wizard Bill Payne had his introduction to the world of music as part of Frank Zappa’s Mothers Of Invention, and in 1969 got the guys together for jam sessions which would eventually become one of North America’s longest-running jam bands - Little Feat. Their signature blend of rock, blues, Americana, Southern rock, funk, and New Orleans boogie quickly became a mainstay - and massive influences to others, even artists of the calibre of Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page. During their lengthy, and nearly six decade-career, Little Feat released no less than 30 albums, of which the latest, Strike Up The Band, dropped in May 2025. Together with the announcement of the band’s retirement from touring, they also released an expanded LP of 1975’s The Last Record Album to commemorate its 50th anniversary.
And now, finally, Little Feat will be bidding farewell to life on the road, leaving behind decades of highly influential music. The limited-date The Last Farewell Tour is set to kick off in early April 2026 in Orlando, Florida, hot on the heels of the Sandy Beaches Cruise 2026 and the Big Easy Cruise 2026. The tour is bound to wrap up at the end of May 2026 in Thornville, Ohio.
