David Spade's now "Got Feel for It," which is pretty great news; the guy's been doing comedy for years, he'd have to figure it out by this point. Sorry for the lame jokes, but hey if you want to hear some good ones and you're in and around Big D, then this David Spade show might just be what the doctor ordered.
It's always interesting to see a performer who's turned into a movie star return to the comedy scene. At this point, the Adam Sandler crew might have made a bet or a pact or whatever to return to comedy. We got Kevin James, Rob Schneider, and Adam himself back on the road. Dallas gets a chance to catch David Spade live. The Majestic is likely going to fill up for this performance. Right now, seats are starting at only $80. David Spade's certainly "Got the Feel" for this comedy thing! At this point, you can say what you want about the man, but he's done movies, TV, and stand-up with success in every single stop. That being said, his current comedy sets are a far cry from his days as Joe Dirt. That's actually something that makes his current shows a lot more intriguing. A lot of performers want to cling to a persona or a comedic style that just doesn't suit them anymore. David Spade is not in that boat.
The new version of David Spade is going to be up there talking about the time he performed for the president. That was a bit in one of his latest comedy specials, "My Fake Problems." The premise behind that entire set is exactly where David Spade is in his life and comedy career. He's no longer the "common man" who was trying to get laughs with that squeaky voice! He's a celeb who's been famous for decades. Who's going to believe he's still got those common problems? He might have some of those issues, but this evolution of David Spade's comedy has made his sets ironically more believable. It can be great fun for anyone who wants to come out to The Majestic for this one.
If you're a heckler, the front rows are always where you need to be. We're not here to judge anyone who wants to feel like the protagonist of the show. The great thing about the Majestic in Dallas is that it's not a massive venue. Anyone who just wants to come out and enjoy the show will be okay with virtually any seat in the house. If you're willing to find spots that are further away from the stage, you'll likely find better deals on tickets.
