This tour and album that goes by the same name, "This Country Music Thing," are essentially Josh Turner's biggest swings in a while. He released a full album in 2020 with "Country State of Mind," but obviously, the pandemic didn't allow him to tour and maybe get those tracks out there to the public as much. When you're a big name in any genre and have been for decades, fans should truly appreciate efforts to tackle new music, but keep your essence alive.
