THE MAN’S CAREER

Max Amini has come a long way since he kicked off his stand-up comedy career with nights at the LA Improv. Having developed a tour called “Exotic Imports,” it featured second-generation Americans from diverse cultural backgrounds, shining light on their stories with relatable and hilarious bits. Performing shows across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, he made it known that he’s an unstoppable force in comedy. In 2009, Laugh Factory Hollywood named him a resident comic, citing his amusing brilliance in the funny business. 2009 saw him becoming a finalist on NBC’s Diversity Showcase which fueled more attention for his sharp wit, observational quirks, and side-splitting antics. Through relatable tales, hot takes, and funny impersonations, he sure is the real deal. Max Amini is a comic you simply cannot resist. Whether you’ve caught him on TV, live on stage, or on your TikTok for-you-pages, he has definitely caught you off guard with hilarious bits.

“I tend to comfortably relate to a lot of nationalities, and I play a lot of ethnic shows,” he shared with NEON. “In the end, we’re all human. We share so much in common, there’s plenty of topics to talk about.”

His style of comedy is universal — making sure that there’s always something different people can relate to. Through this, no matter what city he’s in, it’s always a jam-packed night of laughs. 

“A lot of material I talk about right now, it’s mostly about relationships or my experiences around the world. I talk about French people, I talk about Germans. It’s very universal,” he added.
