Leanne Morgan has been doing stand-up comedy for 22 years. She wanted to pursue her career right after high school graduation but her dreams were put on hold when she attended college at the University of Tennessee. Morgan graduated with a Child and Family Studies degree, which oddly enough became fitting for her stellar comedy career. She settled down with a family and started selling jewelry at home parties. During a sale, Morgan began talking about breastfeeding and hemorrhoids, which party guests found entertaining. Her humor, natural wit, and talent made everyone laugh so hard, to the point that someone peed on the couch. Morgan was fully-booked for the rest of the year.
The company behind the jewelry booked Morgan to speak at their sales rallies, in which she became a hit. With fans and friends' encouragement, Morgan began performing stand-up in local comedy clubs in San Antonio. Her career took off, and the rest was history. Today, Leanne has landed incredible gigs, including the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival. She has also amassed more than 1.5 million followers on social media.
