Second in line is Tchaikovsky’s very own magnum opus, Swan Lake, which will be touring with over 70 shows scheduled to date. The production welcomes audiences ages five and up to enjoy this perennial fairytale as played by the company’s cast of world-class dancers on April 27th LIVE at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas, TX.

Clocking in at two hours and thirty minutes, Swan Lake tells the timeless romance between Princess Odette and Prince Siegfried, captivatingly portrayed in elaborate dance routines and heartfelt harmonies. Watch as they clash against the evil sorcerer Baron Von Rothbart’s spells, schemes, and deceptions in order to break Odette free of her curse before it’s too late. Will darkness triumph, or will true love prevail for our star-crossed paramours?

Through a talented team of music curators and sound engineers, the World Ballet Series brings back Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece in full symphonic splendor. Meanwhile, Nadezhda Kalinina retouched the choreography of Marius Petipa’s 1895 revival, vibrantly colored by more than 150 handmade costumes and sets by Sergei Novikov. As for make-up, Swan Lake boasts the stunning work by Irina Strukova — an award-winning SFX artist previously employed by HBO, Netflix, and the global film phenomenon “Crazy Rich Asians.”

In terms of casting, the production enlists a multicultural ensemble of premier talents from over ten world-class ballet institutions. Playing the role of Odile and Odette at the forefront is Andrea Lassakova, former first soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre, supported by Angelina Zgurskaya, Maxim Vlas, Kyunsoon Park, and Constantine Geronik as the Head Jester.
