Known for his easygoing and warm personality, Jim Croce became a sensation in the early 70s for his folk infused pop songs. Many of these have become classics in their own right, with fans still singing along to hits like "Time in a Bottle" and "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown" to this day. His pretty catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics gave audiences something truly remarkable to enjoy. Unfortunately, his career was cut short in a tragic plane crash in September '73 but his legend still carries on strong through many artists like Linda Ronstandt, Joan Baez and John Denver who have all covered his music as well as his son.
Just two years before his father died, AJ Croce was born, and he took on the incredible mantle that his father left. He began his career in the early '90s and has released 10 albums, all of which have been featured in the Top 40 Americana and Blues charts, as well as charting 20 top 20 singles.
Being very versatile, AJ has toured with many different artists, ranging from Willie Nelson and Earth, Wind, and Fire to Lenny Kravitz and B.B. King. He is an outstanding piano player, has given a TED Talk, and even gave a master class at the University of Barcelona.
This whole tour will feature many of the hits that made his father famous, like "Time in a Bottle" (a song his dad wrote for him), "Operator," "You Don't Mess Around with Jim," Lovers Cross," "Rapid Roy (The Stock Car Boy)," plus so much more. It's a super amazing night for longtime fans of Jim and also a really good way to introduce new people to his music.
Y'all gotta get yourself to this concert because you're gonna get the opportunity to witness two of the greatest songwriters of all time while experiencing a moving and emotional journey that will be remembered for so many years to come. So for a night of something truly special, grab your tickets while you still can or face the heartache of missing out and nobody wants that!!!
